Avoid Empire Deck and Interlock Ottawa Terrible Workmanship and Zero Accountability I strongly advise anyone in ****** looking for interlock or deck services to stay far away from Empire Deck and Interlock. This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and delivers poor-quality construction that does not last.We hired Empire Deck and Interlock a few years ago to build an interlock patio and retaining wall in our backyard. Within a short time, we noticed major problems. The retaining wall is now visibly leaning and crumbling, posing a safety risk and an eyesore. Despite their glossy photos and big promises, the reality is that Empire Deck and Interlock does not stand behind their work. When we reached out for help, they ignored our calls and refused to address the structural issues even though this kind of damage should never happen in just a few years. This is not just cosmetic wear and tear this is structural failure due to poor workmanship.If you're searching for a reputable company for interlock installation, retaining walls, or deck building in ******, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Empire Deck and Interlock may look professional online, but in reality, they do substandard work, provide no aftercare or warranty support, and fail to deliver lasting quality. Dont waste your money and risk your property value I deeply regret hiring them.

4 starsI had 2 decks built in 2018 and the front deck, 1st step structure let go this year 2023. Although it took me over two months to have someone called me back (I was calling on a bi-weekly basis), when I finally got in touch with someone, they honored their contract guarantee and they came and fixed the issue at no charge. The only complaint I would have is that it is a challenge to get to speak to someone who can help...but in the end, the problem got fixed and it didn't cost me anything.
