    Purchased cork flooring for my new custom home, approx 17,000$ installed July 2022, The installers had no knowledge about the floor and didn’t check on specs for installation thereby destroying the floor, chips, bubbles, cracks, separation of boards, warped seams and glue oozing from joints. They tried to make a few repairs last fall, those failed and new one show up daily. They have tried to blame ******, the manufacturer, who sent a rep from Portugal , they did tests and reported no defects in the product. Now Rome Flooring won’t return my calls and wants me to accept flooring as is, because it was the best their installers could do. They offered to patch and fill with caulking or give me 3000$, but those offers cancel my lifetime warranty, not acceptable in my custom designed, retirement home. I want the high quality flooring and installation that I paid in full for.

    Hello, 

    First of all, Rome Flooring has responded to ever call and email put forward by Mr. **********.   We are dealing with a situation that we have a manufacturer is involved with the complaint therefore it can take time to get responded too immediately.  We had the manufacturer look at the floor and provided Mr. ********* with a repair option but he does not agree with it.   We will work on trying to find the appropriate solution.  All said and Done Rome Flooring is putting forth a very good effort to resolve the matter and don't appreciate this complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because: this problem has nothing to do with ******, their flooring is extremely good, it’s all installation issues, and a direct quote is” that the installers did the best they could “  , no experience in installation of this flooring, didn’t check on the installation instructions, never installed a G2 lock flooring and mutilated the install. The entire flooring is now garbage as they have broken the locks by pounding it together.
