A previous contractor had cut and installed for a basement egress window and it was falling apart. This company came in, did a great job fixing the window well with proper support and drainage. They were great at keeping me updated and were professional.

On Sep. 13, 2021, OSRS visited our property re. subsidence at a corner of *********** addition and the corner post of our carport. A contract was accepted to excavate test pits for geotechnical and structural inspections. On Dec. 07, 2021 a proposed contract was received from OSRS for the carport work. This contract was superseded by a contract on Dec. 18 combining the carport and the sunroom work. This contract was signed and a deposit was made, with work to be done in May, 2022. When phoning OSRS in May, we were told that the Project Manager was on medical leave, and the file had been passed on to the General Manager. At a May ***************************************************************************************************************************************** July, the General Manager responded to our enquiry that the work could not be done for the price on the contract, and we were presented with two options, recalculation of a new contract cost or cancellation of the contract. We requested a meeting, held on July 22, attended by the owner of OSRS and the General Manager. We were informed that a new contract would be twice the cost of the original one and the work could not be done until 2023. We signed the original contract in December, 2021 in good faith, believing that the Project Manager was competent and qualified to serve in that capacity, as that was the Authorized Signature on the contract, and that the work would be done in May, 2022. Seven months later, we were told the contract was considerably underestimated by the Project Manager, who was only assisting in writing up contracts. It would appear that the intra-office communication was close to non-existent and that there had been no management supervision from the beginning. On Aug. 28, 2022, we informed OCRS that we would not continue with the more costly proposed contract. We at this point have no trust in OSRS, and feel the company has little interest in restoring that trust.
