    The business owner is a licensed electrician. On or about December 15, 2023, we contracted with the business owner to complete electrical work for our home comprised of several specific tasks including hardwiring for security cameras, a doorbell, installation of potlights, installatio of an electric fireplace, completion of all outlets and fixtures and the final completion of an ESA inspection. The business owner did not complete the majority of work himself, however, he sent his employees/subcontractors to complete the work. There were several deficiencies with the work that we advised the business owner of including:

    - many faceplates installed crookedly
    - security cameras not being hardwired
    - advising us that we had passed our final inspection when in fact this wasnt the case
    - upstairs lights continuing to "power surge"/ flicker with several attempts to contact the business owner to rectify this issue with no response
    - outlets that continue not to function and several attempts to contact the business owner with no response
    - commitment by business owner to install a dimmer switch and several attempts trying to contact the business owner to complete this task but no response

    Sam (also goes by Sawson) Kashani (electrician) was contracted by a contractor to complete electrical work at my house. The contractor stopped showing up but the electrical permits were in Sam's name.

    Sam agreed to complete the work for $1,200. On Dec 19, 2023 I e-transferred $1,200 to ********************@*****.com

    He said these funds were for materials and work.

    The work involved:

    1. Supplying and installing 3 smoke detectors
    2. Installing 2 exterior lights and 1 exterior plug
    3. Connecting bathroom electrical

    He did come once but his worker left suddenly. He returned a 2nd time but the majority of the outstanding work remained incomplete.

    I had called him numerous times. He promised to have someone come that week on multiple occasions but this never happened.

    In Feb/ March 2024 he then said that I owed him a balance and that unless I paid him $1,000 additionally he wouldn't come. This was never part of the agreement. I said he hadn't even finished the work so how could I pay him additionally.

    In addition to the payments made, his work has been very sloppy *** **** *** **** ************* 
    When his worker came I ended up supplying all the fixtures installed.

    I have called him over 25 times so I would just like my $1,200 refunded at this point and will arrange for another electrician to complete the job.
