    The business has continued to charge me $250 on the 9th of ever month since September with service not rendered since July.
    I have spoken to them several times informing them I am cancelling my service but no Manager or owner of the club will return my calls or speak to me about the situation.

    Hi BBB and *******, thank you for providing me with this opportunity to respond and clear the air and make sure everything is fine. ******* was contacted by us or third party over the last few months because she signed up for a membership at Club Pilates ********* and then around September, stopped paying for her membership without going through the proper cancellation procedure as outlined in her membership agreement that she signed (30 days written notice before the next billing date, usually just a simple email). You need to be in good standing to cancel an account. What happened is that when she requested to cancel, she was already in past due, meaning she needed to clear her balance for us to cancel her, but she refused to do so. This caused us to reach out to her to clear it so we can cancel her, and her refusing to do so. Ultimately, she never cleared the balance. With all that being said, what is most important to me as the owner is *******'s satisfaction. As a result, I've voided her agreement, and released her of all responsibility for future charges. Moreover, I cleared her entire past due account, worth several hundred dollars, so now she owes $0. Effectively, I am allowing ******* to break her contract to ensure she is happy and content and that is what we have done. *** **** ** ***** ****** **** * **** ** *** ***** ********. ******* has not been charged since July 9, 2024. That is the last payment we collected from her. All payments after were in past due and now they have been cleared of past due by me. Her last charge was July 9, and she continued to use the gym until August 8, 2024. Exactly 1 month after her last payment, which is the maximum she could. Therefore, ******* took full advantage of her membership and everything she was charged for, we provided the service for. I hope this clears everything for ******* and for the BBB. *******'s past due charges have been cleared, her agreement voided, and there will be no future charges. ******* used all the services she paid for and we were happy to provide her with the best service we can. I genuinely hope ******* is satisfied and that is my #1 priority. Have a wonderful day and thank you for taking the time to read our response! We hope to welcome you back in the future.
