    MedicAlert Foundation Canada provides Medic Alert Bracelets that identify allegies or medical conditions should you need EMS services and are unable to speak for yourself. They also provide a paid service where they store your medical information in a database to provide to EMS. As I am now on a limited income I have chosen not to renew the subscription. On July 2nd 2025 I received an email stating "You must immediately stop wearing your MedicAlert ID and you no longer have access to MedicAlert Services. " I have responded to one of the 2 emails stating I found the letter "***********" - I mean that they say I "MUST STOP WEARING the MedicAlert bracelet" I had a MedicAlert device for years before I ever decided to sign up for the database service. I was never told to stop wearing the device unless I Paid More for a subscription. In my response I stated that ** ****** has a MedicAlert bracelet - has never paid for a subscription and has never received a letter telling her to "stop wearing" her MedicAlert Bracelet.
    If this is the new policy for the MedicAlert Foundation Canada then I believe the medical field and anyone purchasing a bracelet should be aware that they won't get any service from them in a medical emergency. I'm extremely disappointed in this change. I asked for a response to my email stating the above info. I'm unsure if they will respond.
