I came across Peppa Pups’s website that ****** **** ***** *** had cutest pups. While I might have rushed the process and asked very little questions (I really had no idea of things like puppy mills) I came to contact someone from the website. Within hours I was politely answered and told that the puppy I wanted was available.
I was given a price and went to my husband. He loved the puppy I chose and decided to splurge for our anniversary.
We were thrilled to go pick him up. I was never asked if I wanted to ******** and connect with the breeder nor see the puppy on the camera. A person I spoke to asked to pick up my new furry baby at the parking lot of a mall???
We thought it was strange but went with it. A nice man came with the little crate and passed him on to us with very few instructions.
He opened the crate and the little white fluffy adorable face came to me and stole our hearts in a moment. We were in love. He was exactly as the photo we saw.
We took him home and he was very well looked after.
After 6 days of having our fur baby home, I noticed that my puppy isn’t feeling well. He was never outside our home, other than when we picked him up. My husband and I decided to take him to a vet just to make sure he isn’t very sick, and since it’s Sunday we had little options. We took him to a vet, he examined him and said he doesn’t see anything wrong but it could be a cold, so he prescribed antibiotics.
At night he got seizure like symptoms and we rushed him to ER. He passed away in my arms. This was a nightmare.
As devastating as we were, I had to deal with Peppa Pups to see why this happened and why was I given sick puppy.
I have only received his vaccine record.
Many emails back and forth (2 months) , they now accuse me to poisoning my puppy!
There is no evidence but they just don’t want to deal with it because they only cover “heart failure”!
    **** *** ******** ********* *** ******** ******* **** ** *** **** *** ****** *** **** ****** We are heartbroken!

We are devastated at the passing of one of our pups, which occurred in the care of the new owner. We are not a puppy mill (which our clients know) and our business is based on referrals of happy clients.
Our policy on our Health Guarantee is clearly stated on our website for public viewing at any time.
When we requested for medical documentation and required evidence to support the claim, insufficient documentation was provided and the claim was rejected.
While we understand that the owner does not want to take even partial responsibility, no veterinarian was able to determine the cause of death as the owner had declined the biopsy, x-rays and ultrasound, and any further testing to rule out the cause of death. This is crucial evidence that is required for a claim and is outlined clearly on our website.
We understand the owner’s frustration however the evidence presented lines up with owner-responsibility. We have hundreds of positive client experiences who have taken home happy, healthy pups, and do not appreciate unsubstantiated claims posted publicly as a means of retaliation. Peppa Pups does not provide medical guidance as we are not veterinarians. We rely on medical documentation that is shared to third party veterinarians for review. No accusations of “poisoning” have ever been made to the owner. The veterinary team has suggested that the evidence presented pointed to a possible “ingestion of a foreign substance”.
If the owner can produce valid medical documentation from a veterinarian stating that the cause of death was due to one of the congenital conditions as outlined on our website, our door remains open to continue the conversation within 1-year.
