    Purchased a $5,000 ********** Chair from Modern Sense ( MS )
    After a month the leather had stretched on the deck and back leaving large wrinkles in the leather.
    MS service proceeded to apply for a warranty claim and ********** honored and provided
    new foam for the chair but MS will not respond to my request to install the foam on behalf
    of the claim , rather choosing to ignore my requests. Again this chair cost over $ 5,000

    We purchased a dining table and chairs from modern sense. Roughly last November. We were pressured into buying the table, being told that if we didn’t buy it that day, we would not get that price. We told the sales rep. At the time we were in the middle of a renovation. And would not know when we would be able to receive the product.
    They contacted us about a month later asking us, when we wanted our delivery. We told the delivery company. We were not ready to receive it.
    I told them to call back in at the end of February and would let them know.
    Someone whose name they did not mention called me on February 27, asking me if I wanted our delivery. I accepted without knowing there was an outstanding balance.
    About 1 hour later i received another call from another lady, letting me know there was a balance.
    So I declined the delivery. Roughly an hour after **** * ******** ******* **** **** ***** *** ****** *** *** ******* *** ********** ** **** *** * ******** ** ******* *** *** ****** **** **** ***** *** *** ** ******** ******* ****** **** *** ****** ** **** ********.
    I have reached out to the sales rep. But she is no longer with them! ( which now I totally understand!) ********** * ******** **** ** **** **** **** ******* ******.
    Modern sense has beautiful pieces, but no concept how to deal with their customers. At this point I just want our deposit back* *** **** ****** **** ** ** ******* ********* ******* **** ***** ******** ***

    My client has had two armchairs on backorder for a whole YEAR. We got no clarity about lead times or expected due dates and the company representatives, including the Manager, Steve was very DISHONEST on multiple occasions. We have had to chase the company for the status of the furniture, and they refuse to refund my clients money, which has brought an enormous amount of stress on me and my staff. Till date, we keep getting shifting timelines and I will NEVER bring any client here again - but beyond that, I will be going after them if their attitude causes any more damage to my interior design business.
    I can see that the company does not have a good rating, and probably don’t care too much about their customer relations, but I will be happy to form a coalition with other dissatisfied customers to escalate the complaint about this company. I am thoroughly disappointed* *** ***** ** ***************** *** ********** ** ***** ******* *********** *** *************

    To whom it may concern,
    Modern sense and the whole team has gone over and beyond to satisfy Ms F. (the designer of our client ****** ********). The client placed the order on 09/10/2021 with an approximate lead time of 16 weeks for the chairs. Please note that everything else that was purchased under the same invoice was delivered on time as per clients' request. The chairs were custom order and due to unforeseen circumstances (supply chain and shortage of materials) the shipment was delayed. However, we stand behind our products and the client has been constantly informed in regards to all the delays occurred. As per system notes the client was been contacted on the following dates 08/03/2022 3:14:31 PM, 24/03/2022 11:44:33 AM, 19/05/2022 3:50:18 PM, 02/07/2022 1:14:27 PM and 20-Jul-22 1:19:52 PM. On 29/09/2022 3:13:43 PM the designer Funmi was in contact with the manager Steve and he had accepted to cancelled the accent chairs, which did take place and the client received a refund of $2116.43 on the CC provided. We understand our clients frustration; however, the whole team was working really hard to do our best to deliver the products purchased and it is in our best interest to deliver and keep our customer satisfied.
    The above claim has been resolved the best possible way to satisfy this client and this file has been closed.
