      Bathroom flooded from a unit upstairs.. and they fixed it after arguing.. now they want to increase my rent higher in association with repairs to the unit.. the repairs were not my fault.. also not enough parking for the residents who live here.. they took away parking to build a new building and now nobody can park anywhere

      The units are not properly cared for. Cockroaches everywhere with little done. I have had a leaking ceiling in my bathroom for weeks due to the tenants upstairs. I have had water come falling down on me while using the toilets. This has been weeks now with no contractor coming to look or anything being done. Just the manager telling me they know about it. The stairwells are rarely cleaned. The fob to the front door rarely works so tenants just prop the door open. So much for secured building. The day I moved in I had to spend 2 hours cleaning before I could unpack anything.
      It's a ******** that we work hard to pay ridiculous prices and this is what we have to deal with

      Very unhappy with my stay at one of the ******** apartments managed by centurion property associates. What initially attracted me was there $1000 off first month of rent however they did not honour that and only took off $250 I knew that was too good to be true but it gets better. I pay my fm + lm and the beginning of next month through online banking. The accountant decides to double dip and take an extra $2050 using my void cheque despite already paying the rent. I had to get my bank involved.

      Centurion Property Associates Inc. purchased on April 28th 2022 (from Junic) and is now operating the ** ******* complex in Gatineau, Quebec. The company is not respecting the "Charte de la langue francaise" of Quebec by not providing call centre service in French, by not modifying their Web site to provide French documents/links. The company does not provide pertinent information to tenants - they do not return phone calls or reply to e:mails in most cases. Although numerous points that need corrective actions have been brought to their attention (several times), promises are made, but actions, when they occur, are very slow to occur. Corridors with stacks of gyprock (limiting access to EMS), open walls in corridors revealing electrical wires, corridors left in the dark for several days due to water damage, many specific problems like Air Conditioners (AC) not working are not being repaired on a timely basis - some people have been without AC for several months, etc.
