    ** *** *** *** I booked a tour for May 18th but that tour is no longer offered, I send then a refund request but to no avail. For some reason they changed the tour for a trafalgar trip that I never approved as they would not honor a price quoted.
    I am asking for your help in my $400.00 refund.

    I made a booking with Insight Vacations for a 14 day tour named Country Roads of Switzerland On January 4, 2023 and made the required $400.00 deposit, booking reference *******. On February 11,2023 I received an email from Insight Vacation showing that the same tour I had booked in January was now on sale for $1400.00 less than I paid for the initial booking. I asked Insight Vacations if we would get the same price as the sale price but had no response. As there was timeframe to book the sale price I did so thus having 2 bookings for the same tour. Since February 12 I have attempting to get in touch with the Insight contact centre and have been kept on hold for over 12 hours during the last week and still no connection. I have sent emails to Insight reservations and they have referred me to the Live Chat who refer me to the reservation contact centre. There is a time limit on how far in advance you have to cancel a booking in order to get some refund. I have been requesting someone to cancel the initial booking but nobody seems to be able or willing to do so. The new sale price booking we made is A175201 and we wish to retain that booking as it is fully paid. If we cannot get someone to cancel the booking ******* within the next week we will lose our entire $400.00 deposit.

    We are being told by the reservation team to contact the Live Chat or the Contact Centre but the Live chat is telling us to contact the Reservation Team. All we are asking if for somebody to cancel the initial booking and process the refund portion of our deposit. I have asked somebody from Insight Vacations to contact me as we are unable to get connected to their Contact Centre. * ** *** ***** **** ** *** **** ** *** *** ***** ** ** ********* ******* *** ********* ** ** ***
