    Our banker recommended Hattan Homes & Renovations = $5K / 2 Days Day 1, we were billed $2000/day for his labour. He removed an old tub and shower and disposed of it, "roughed in" for the shower, and placed the shower pan. Day 2, we were billed another $2000 for a plumber and his apprentice. The plumber left after getting his apprentice set up and started, his apprentice finished the job. We do not know who these individuals were, we do not have their contact number, nor do we know what they got paid from the second $2000 bill.I asked more than once what the $2000 each day covered, I asked for details such as hourly wage, supplies and if the fees were covering some of the things yet to come. We were told we were suppose to remove the tile floor, all we paid for was tub and shower removal and rough in, placement of the shower pan, and the plumbers who moved our tub pipes over one foot in distance.I informed him we can not afford a daily wage of $2000 for 1-2 persons, so we will have to finish the job ourselves, and I requested a refund of some of the funds. I calculated from research what the hourly labour fees should have been and disposal fees; no response to my email, and again my mailed letter. We felt completely ripped off, and could not afford this total of $5K financial loss :( This is what I requested: I am requesting some sort of a fair refund. I have looked up hourly wages for such and the higher scale is $100/hr. $100 X 8hours labour = $800 x 2 days = $1600 + est $300 disposal = $1900 + $100 for any small parts =$2000 for two days work X 13% = $260 Total: $2260. $5000-2260=$2740 I am requesting a refund of $2700. I am willing to discuss payments on specific dates to lessen any hardships on you and your ********* your research, get a min 3 quotes from businesses others have used. Ensure to get itemized details of expenses, detailing what you are paying for such as wage/hr, job, supplies, and that you are on the same page for expectations.
