    This firm asked for payment for mouse poison but wanted payment before rodents disappeared.

    They ripped us off

    The  customer called our office for mice control in two of their rental properties in Kingston, ON. Price agreed by the customer was $700 + hst for inside treatment and customer was told that if exterior treatment was needed, the price is going to be extra and customer agreed to that as well. 

    Our technician went to treat the houses on September 24, 2022 close to 12:30 pm. Mr ******s mom arrived a minute later and technician and Mr ******s mom went inside the properties. Our technician explained all the details about the treatment and ******s mom agreed and seemed happy. 

     

    Technician suggested  Mr. ******r mom that one rat bait station was needed out side the house which she agreed to and the technician installed one bait station out side in one corner of the house.

     

    The invoice was given to Mr ******s mom for $800.00 ( $700.00 for inside and $100 for outside ). Mr ******s mom signed and accepted the invoice and happily paid the invoice by credit card.

     

    Mr ***** has dispute with his tenants but we can not understand where is the scope of dispute with our company.

     

    We performed the work with all the details and under the rules and regulations. 

     

    We charged the money which was agreed upon in advance by both the parties.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The business wanted cash up front.

    Then they communicated with the renters and not my Mom (owner)!

    Because it’s a cash transaction: they would not issue a receipt.

    My Mom was expecting a labeled truck but it was a van?

    It is totally wrong and a big lie.

     

    His mom was there and we communicated with her as well as the tenants. His mom was there for the whole time during the treatment.

     

    The pest control services are always paid right after the service and no credit was offered. It was not a cash transaction. It was paid by credit card and a receipt was

    issued to his mom. We have singed copy of the paid invoice.

     

    It was not a van, it was Ford truck which is unmarked. Residential clients do not want marked trucks on their property.
