    Marinescape and its supplier, Exotic Reef based in *******, have been accusing other stores, competitors of the illegal importation and sale of products on social media without posting any evidence to substantiate their claims. They have been asked to provide evidence to support their defamatory claims in the public realm and are always told "its coming" and it never does. Meanwhile, their comments impact the reputation of the businesses they malign. Marinescape has made accusatory statements about the illegal imports of "Fauna Marin" products and insinuated the importation of illegal corals and fish by their competitors.The *** of the manufacturer of Fauna Marin has even released a statement about the retailers selling his product without purchasing them through the "sole" Canadian distributor, exotic Reef, limiting competition, that the imports are gray market imports which are not illegal.So the *** of the company who owns the product does not even call it illegal, however this does not stop Marinescape the Canadian Authorized Distributor, from labeling their competitors as criminal organization selling illegally imported fauna marine products or knockoffs.This is not in keeping with ethical business or even adhering to their stated values of honesty posted on their website.Large Canadian retailers have come out against these accusations, yet Marinescape is not satisfied and continued to malign their competitors.
