FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR - TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I will preface this by saying it is long and very detailed. I want to protect future homeowners. The ensuite itself looks lovely (although we have to pray it doesnt have any issues as there is no warranty). The process and the finish though was an ordeal. I have lost a good deal of my summer to anxiety and stress because of this company. The review I want to give is too long for this forum. Here is a link to it: ************************************************************************************************ Essentially we are thousands over where we thought we'd be for this project. The end result: over budget, over time, exhausted, frazzled, and without any protection on the work that was done.I realize this is a long post - but heed my warning. If you want to hire this company, you need to be willing to pay whatever ****** and his workers will charge (which likely wont match your quote), hand him the keys and let his worker make a disaster of the work space while they are there, never question anything, and be ready to clean for hours to make a new space beautiful. Seriously: FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. When I myself was looking at online references at the onset of this project, I noticed that any negative ones were dismissed by ******; I assume this will happen here. I will not get into it with ******, I really just want to ensure no one else goes through what we did. I am more than happy to speak to anyone considering this contractor who wants further details.

We understand your confusion between a fixed-price contract and a cost plus a fixed fee for overhead and profit. We explained the differenece several times.Several unexpected things happened during the course of the contract, mainly in the plumbing area, and the framing of the shower floor was destroyed by another plumber during another renovation. Each time they were explained in detail. Each week bills were presented, and each week bills were paid. The client was given several days to review the bills in detail.Troubles occurred between the client and the staff during the last week. The client did not take into account that we were affected by COVID affecting our lead craftsman and kept pushing for the work to be done despite the required 5-day shutdown of the project. We agreed to a final bill by giving a discount to the client. That discount nullified the warranty on the work done. The full warranty would have been honoured if the total amount had been paid.We stand behind our work and offered to come back and fix a few cosmetic things at our own cost. The client refused to have us back into their house.
