    In the response by ********************* of Peace of Mind Bookkeeping to my complaint she said I did not pay her last bill. This is not true. **** would not turn over my hardcopy files or give my new bookkeeper access to our company unless I paid her last invoice. I can only assume that **** has forgotten that she clearly told me I could not pick up my files until my bill was paid. I paid her bill and **** allowed me to come to her office and she had the boxes of files ready for me to pick up because my bill to her was paid. I never chose not to do the books properly as **** says as that is not true. I have been in business for 35 years. I have submitted my taxes on time every year and I have never had trouble with my accounts until this experience with ****. I feel **** was in over her head in tackling our business and rationalized different reason why she could not balance the books. I have been in business for 35 years and had several excellent self employed bookkeepers work for us. Some retired and some were hired up to work for large corporations. When I started checking ****'s work towards the end of the year I would find the same supplier in account payable entered in multiple accounts. I found double entries and the *** who has reviewed the books left by **** has told me that many transactions were not entered and there is no way the year was reconciled. In the end I paid **** over $20,000 for a year's work and I ended up with an incomplete 2020 and **************************************************************************************************
