    On November 25th at around 5pm I booked a rental car with Routes for my trip to *****************. Upon confirming the booking I received a confirmation email noting that the car could not leave ******. I immediately called Routes (about 2 minutes after completing the booking) and requested a refund and they refused saying that the small print of the policy page of their website had this rule. It was not clear in the booking process and I was extremely surprised I couldnt get a refund within minutes of booking. The customer service representative I spoke with promised call backs that were never received. After looking at online reviews, it appears they have done this to hundreds of people.

    Hello,Went to Routes Auto Sales to buy a car (listed on AutoTrader).I put down 1000$ on my ***** The car was supposed to be ready for Thursday May 30.Car wasnt ready. I have been continually hassled to provide a passport in order to obtain a temporary 10 day transit. Friday the car was not ready. Monday, the car was not ready and even the manager insisted I produce the travel document so he can get the 24$ transit permit.I got fed up with their delays and baggering over a passport. I had already provided a driver license and insurance policy to buy the car.After several conversations Monday June 3, and the promise to call me (after he verifies with Service Ontario that no passport is needed), I was completely ignored!I texted the Routes and said I am going to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. I need a car, not hassles.
