    In 22nd of May 2022 I contacted them and told them I’m living in downtown and I sent my exact address. We agreed that I will pay extra for the driving instructor and he will come to my home and pick me up for in car lessons. Once I paid and spent two months to finish the online link they provided me they said we can not come just for an hour for you for in car lessons. They said you live very far from us and our time is important not money. They offered me refund I took the refund they deducted %20 because of the link they provided. They told me I have to redo the 30 hours of online course to get the certificate they didn’t give me the certificate.
    I contacted several driving school and they said if my pervious school refer me for them I will not lose the 30 hours time I spent on the online classes. I contacted them again if they can refer me but they said we don’t refer our students to other driving schools.
    So the things I lost:
    1. My time (two months spent to finish the 30 hours of online lessons)
    2. The driving certificate (I have my G1 licence I took this course so I get the certificate so it reduce my insurance)
    3. My money (20% of my payment)
    Now what do I want from Five Star Driving School Driving School:
    1. I want the certificate for the 30 hours of online course I finished. 2. I want to be referred to another driving school where they accept the 30 hours of online lessons I did so I could continue my lessons. 3. I want the %20 of the payment this driving school kept it for themselves. I live alone with my baby and my husband works in Alberta in a rural area just so he could pay our monthly bills. Besides, for a mother who cut lots from hers and her baby’s daily expenses so she could pay a driving school and learn driving %20 is a lot and I want it back. 4. If five star could not do any of the above I want this school to pay me for 30 hours as I cut lots of time from my own and my baby’s life in these two months so I could finish this course

    The student contacted our school by her husband March 2022 to register for the BDE course on line , and me as on owner of the business always ask about the client address because some area in Ottawa valley we don’t cover such as ( Kanata, orleans, downtown, and any out side of Ottawa) due shortage in the instructor. At that time I made it clear that we can’t serve her . In May 2022 ***** contacted me and I told her the same thing and if she would like to meet at billing’s bridge , we are happy to do business with her . At that time she said we will figure out something. After she finished on line 30 hours she contacted me a gain , and I repeated the same thing but she insist that it must be from her house in downtown. At that time I said she must pay $ 120 to the instructor not to the school and she agree but never mentioned , the lesson can’t be more than one hour long. When things did not work out I offered her 80% off the course total cost refund and I sent it to her . 

    Now for her request 

    1- the MTO will not issue any certificate if the student ( didn’t Finnish on line theory or didn’t finish 10 hours in car driving,) in other word you must complete both which is she did not . 

    2- I am not a ware that any driving school can transfer any student because we are individual business owner and the MTO wouldn’t allowed it , she can always contact the MTO and asked them if it possible , it’s not because I don’t want but because it’s vary complicated process. She maintained in her letter that she contacted some driving school, I would like to have the names of these driving school so I can contacted directly . 

    I have nothing to offer her.
