      Had a business account with Alterna for approx 30 years.Last week Alterna decided to upgrade their website (which i have noticed that afew banks have updated recently.I logged into my BMO account and even though they had upgraded their website and had NO PROBLEM accessing my accounts .Alterna on the other hand was a totally different experience First of all...after doing my usual login and password, i was directed to a NEW site with login and password (again) Now it goes to a different page and asks "Lets make sure this is you.Question:" what year were you born" (keep in mind that i opened the account more than 30 years ago and was never asked what year i was born.So i put my birth year in and walla...im locked out Went to the branch 3 times to attempt to resolve this mess with zero results.Looking for a NEW bank *****

The transformation of our digital banking channels will give us the flexibility to adapt to the constantly evolving market's expectations.Our members have been a vital part of this project from the beginning. We specifically included members from a range of demographics (from youth to seniors) when developing the architecture and designing the final platforms so that we would come out with a modern solution designed by our members, for our members. Implementing these new channels has taken over 18 months and has included input and testing from member users every step of the way. This project was a necessary change that will lay the groundwork for ****************** that will make Alterna a front runner in digital advancements. Moving into the future, we will continue to develop these digital tools to meet the changing needs of our members.
