  In 2021 I had a new kitchen installed by this company which included installing the appliances as well. I purchased a $6000 GE double wall oven. They installed it with cupboards all around it and a drawer underneath. I recently used the self cleaning cycle on the oven and it melted the finish off the drawer. I had a repair man in today to look at the oven and was told that the vent is directly above the drawer and this is bound to happen. I have repeatedly left messages with Alteck and none of my calls have been returned. I want them to replace the front of the drawer since there is nothing else I can do to rectify the situation

  1) Framing was not completed, 70% was done, contract price - $4,500.24(-70%) = $1,350.07
  2) Self leveling cement was not done, contract price - $698.50
  3) Spray Foam, contract price - $4,372.50
  4) Drywall and Mudding, 20% is done - only 2 outside walls in the garage were done, contract price - $4,906.00(-20%) = $3,924.80
  5) Another professional plumber company found and repaired the leak - $1,459.64
  6) Clean up by Me and my wife 6-7hours - $1000.00

  I called “Alteck Group” ****, at the beginning he said that I will need to wait 2-3 weeks for them to redo spray foam and then he completely stopped responding. Over 1.5 month, I wrote to “Alteck Group” **** many times that we need to meet and discuss the contract and that they need to return the money that I paid them for the work that they did not do. **** responded to me a few times, and stated that agreed. He further stated that he will need to calculate everything and return the money to me within a week by check. When one week passed from the date, I emailed **** asking about the refund. **** responded that the check was in the mail, or he will ask one of his workers to drop it off within this week. Weeks later, he never returned anything and stopped contacting me and responding to my contacts.

  Customer refused to pay our electrical contractor on the amount of $4,792.02. We advised that he must pay for worm to continue. We arrived on site to find vapour barrier removed and he called our employees"bums and losers" was extremely rude to all of our employees. Refusing to pay for electrical work and never returned phone calls to settle the matter. We completed all of the framing and have a passed inspection report from the building inspector. Spray foam was completed and required minimal amounts of repairs. He refused. Was extremely difficult the entire process. We will issue a refund for the agreed amount as stated once the electrical contractor is paud in full.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  

  I will not be discussing electrical contractor with Alteck Group as it is not part of our contract (see attached contract). Alteck Group refused to finish their contractual obligations for which they were paid for and they are refusing to return the funds that they were paid for the work that they refused to complete. I had almost zero communication with Alteck Group over the phone as they refused to answer whenever I called them. All of the communication was done over the email. I can provide all of the communication that I have had with Altech Group and their continuous attempts to buy time. I have never been rude to Alteck Employees. The vapour barrier was removed because Alteck Groups was not supposed to put it up before City of Ottawa inspection was completed of the foam barrier. It was evident that Alteck Group intended to cover up their horrible spray foam job by installing the vapour barrier over the spray foam prior to inspection and even sent their people on the next day to attempt to install drywall over the vapour barrier and spray foam, so that the City of Ottawa Inspector would have no way of seeing Alteck Group's horrible spray foam job. The framing was not 100% completed; Alteck Group never finished the floor part of the contract. I took pictures everyday after their work was done for that day and can provide them if necessary. Spray foam was not completed and required to be redone as per City of Ottawa Inspector; however, Alteck Group refused to redo the spray foam for months after receiving the notification that they need to redo the spray foam to the point of contract termination and my request for a refund. I even sent Alteck Group a registered letter with "Notice of Action" asking them to finish their contractual obligations within 15 days of receiving the letter, however the address that Alteck Group used in the contract is not real/does not exist, as I was told at the post office. The second address that I found on the Alteck Group website is also not real as the registered letter was returned to me as return to sender. I am requesting a full refund from the Alteck Group for the work that they did not complete but were paid for,
