I excitedly made an appointment with ********* showed up expecting a consultation where there would be an exchange of ideas about the possibilities - there was none of that. I was there for maybe 5 ************ asked me to send him in inspiration pictures. I left him with a loose ************ dead mothers wedding ring. The plan was to create a two diamond ring (toi et moi) and then use the small leftover diamonds from the wedding ring to do a thin diamond band. No money exchanged hands no design was agreed-upon.When I received the draft design I didnt like it. I asked him if he had any other ideas for me but he simply said I can do whatever you want but you have to decide what it is that you want. I expected more input from someone who is a professional in the industry and has designed what I assume is many pieces of jewelry. Feeling like we had hit a wall I told him that I was going to come pick up the ring & loose diamond I left with him. It was at this point that he told me that he had removed all the diamonds from the existing ************ would be a $90 charge for that work. To say I was shocked that he had done this was an understatement, but when I saw the ring, which he left completely mangled, I was even more shocked. Part of me wondered if I was in the wrong in being shocked that he had done this - I had never designed a jewellery piece before - maybe this was the norm?I went to another local jeweller and the experience with them was a breath of fresh air. I told them about my experience and they were horrified. What he did to the ring I brought in is absolutely not standard practice and he shouldve never done that without consent. The new design for the ring Im planning will include likely a duplicate of the setting from my moms now mangled ring which Im going have to pay for because he tore apart her ring so badly that we likely cant just use her existing setting. So now Im going to be out even more money because of his carelessness.

****** posted this same review to ****** to which we replied. The entire process took place over 25 days and 17 emails back and forth. From what I have ascertained she seemed quite satisfied with the estimates and progress and had approved of one of the two rings. based on this we proceeded to dismantle her old ring so we could re use the small Diamonds it contained She then changed her mind and decided to postpone the order. She enquired if there would be a charge for the time spent on design work to date. We informed her that there would not be but only a labour charge for dismantling the old ring to remove the stones. she seemed to find this reasonable and picked up her ring. based on this we find this complaint surprising. a much wiser person than me once said "you just can't please them all" but I can say without reservation, in this case we really triedReview fromConcetta C

I had recently a **** and diamond ring designed and created. The ring is amazing, incredibly beautiful! Beyond my expectations. The customer service is excellent! I highly recommend Goldform , as a matter of fact I will be going back soon for another new ring. The First time I went to Goldform was a few years ago to adjust the size of a ring and I have never been disappointed.Goldform Manufacturing Jewellers Ltd
