  This company was paid to mow my lawn for the summer season 2024. The service was careless to the point of damage. A rose **** was mowed over even though I called to tell them about it and left a metal stake to show where it was. They mowed over it repeatedly until it was completely destroyed. I had to call more than once to ask that the gate to the back yard be closed after they left. The worst damage was to my siding on the side of the house to the back yard. Moving their mowers they carelessly scratched and damaged my siding. All in all very poor and careless service. I regret having hired them.

  We received more than 20 CM of snow between April 3 and 4, 2024 and they refused to honor the contract despite ** placing a request to service our driveway. Last year, JR billed for every CM in excess of the cap in the contract which was an extra $200. I am a retired senior with mobility issues but I'll never recommend ** to anyone. Right now I am stuck in the house as the city plows have passed several times and blocked the driveway. JR is not reputable and should have their BBB rating revoked.I will be sending a letter to the City sharing my experience and seeking to have their license revoked. ** has engaged in illegal competetive practices in the area by buying up small independent contractors and rigging prices.Respectfully submitted *************************** *********************************************************

  I have never dealt directly with this business, but now I never will. We received a 'contract' for snow removal to sign and submit payment of $621.49 by October 15/23. We've never even spoken to them about needing their service! JR, this is not cool. A business card or flyer, understandable, but someone who doesn't know any better might just fall for this. Frankly, this is a shady business practice.

  We use JR (off AV Drive) as do my parents (off **********) who seem to be the most popular and feel that they are doing their best given the crazy storm season we now seem to be in. They do my streets 8 homes early and often per their emails and then swoop in after the plows have been. Unfortunately they charge extra for 250cm+ ******* though!

I really wish we could continue to offer the service for an unlimited amount of snow and visits but unfortunately, with fuel, labour, and tractor maintenance, this is an unrealistic goal. Lucky for all of us this kind of winter only happens once in a blue moon!

  This company used to be good. This year they are not doing there job properly anymore. They are good in sending emails saying that the work is done, but it is totally the opposite. They say that they cleaned driveways 2 and 3 times, but it is not done at all. I am talking from my personal experience.

  Good morning and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry to hear that you are not finding value in the service we are providing you. I know on your street with it being a bus route we make sure to visit you guys first. A lot of times, this year especially with the snow storms we have had and the dispatch times it often looks like we have only been there once. However, maybe there is another issue that is ongoing that we are not aware of.
