the company was on the street townline about to load up my neighbour to move them when the driver tried to back up to better position the transport. The back of the truck caught the phone lines and tore them out of my house leaving two round approximately eight centimeter holes in the siding of my hourse. Bell rpaired the line free of charge and my son tried to call the company but got no contact with a person and his message was not returned. The driver had given me the name of his supervisor who was the person that was tried to contact. I was also given the name of the insurance company but they want a claim number to respond to online. I also have the name of the driver and a picture of the back of the truck with the license plate number but the trailer was out of London ontario while the tractor and workers were from pembroke

Respectfully disagree, if there are no height restrictions posted on a roadway and a trucking company is within legal height requirements, it is unreasonable to expect any carrier to stop and measure every “object that is stationary”  in the road to ensure it meets the minimum height standards by law. There are minimum height standards that utility and phone companies are to abide by in the same manner as a trucking company. The Bell technician confirmed the wire was to low for the road. Your issue is with Bell Canada who failed to meet the minimum height requirements and as a result caused damage.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:He drove in fine it was when he was backing up that he was close to the grass verge that he hit the wires with the back of the trailer. The line was not damaged going forward when on the drive portion of the road. Look at the picture on where he parked. Read the truckers driver manual. Talk to the Bell company.

      Sincerely,
