    November 30th, 2023 I moved houses where I hired the company “Two Men with A Truck”. The move day was pretty hectic and while waiting for the keys to the new house the movers went somewhere for lunch with the moving truck for a few hours where we did not have visual access. Once the move was complete we noticed one specific dresser was missing multiple high valued jewelry the dresser was originally taped shut but it looked like it had been opened and then re-packaged with the movers supplies. In the dresser only the most expensive items were missing, and all other items stayed in tact so it’s unlikely anything just “fell out”.

    So we took action immediately, contacting the moving company with specific details, receipts and proof of ownership of the items. We filed a police report as well with the same information.

    The president of the company was in touch with me from this point forward -**** **** and I have all correspondence from him through multiple emails. He mentioned that once the police investigation was complete he could move forward with an insurance claim for the missing items. The investigation was completed weeks ago and now the president will not respond to me. I’ve sent 4+ follow up emails, called and left messages as well, no response since December 20th 2023. He was cooperating at first to file the insurance claim and now has gone completely silent.

    The cost of the move was $2500.00 plus items missing were all listed in the police report with the exact amounts adding up to a total of $3800 in missing jewelry. The movers also asked before our move started if we could pay they a cash tip to avoid them being taxed on it through their company. We gave a $310 cash tip to the movers as well before we noticed anything was missing.

    July 16, 2023:
    Terrible un-professional service, several damages to home and currently almost a month out from move and they have still not resolved my insurance claim to refund me!
    - dresser was dropped (damaged)
    - railing damaged
    - blinds damaged
    - overcharged on hours (signed off on 5.5hrs at end of move, machine would not work at end of move and staff charged 6.25hrs afterwards).
    - movers dripped chocolate milk all over my floors
    - movers find it professional to drink protien shakes and cause home owner to have to air house out after move (I know, disgusting!)
    Have sent several emails that are not being returned, asking for managments name/number, when this is going to be resolved?????????
    DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero Stars!

    Writing to you as my friend made a complaint against this company. She was totally in the wrong in doing so and she’s looking for someone to blame her problems on. Her place was a disaster having garage and filth all over the house. Only about half of her stuff was packed so they couldn’t move everything if they were able to. The movers refused as it wasn’t safe to be moving out furniture over a pile of garbage. I was there and seen everything.

    There’s no way she should be filing a complaint against this company. Her name is ***** ****
