    DATE ON INVOICE 04/08/22 - $675.00 - PURCHASE OF COLOURED CONTACT LENS FOR LEFT EYE TO MATCH RIGHT EYE. CONTACT LENS CHANGED TO DARK BROWN COLOUR EVEN IF I CLEAN IT WITH PRODUCTS PURCHASED AT PLACE OF BUSINESS. NOTE: I HAVE A FORMER LENS THAT NEVER IN OVER 30 YEARS CHANGED COLOUR. I CONTACTED DR. **** *****'S OFFICE BEGINNING OF JANUARY 2023. I WAS TOLD BY RECEPTIONIST AFTER CONSULTING WITH THE DOCTOR THAT PROBABLY I WAS NOT CLEANING IT PROPERLY WITH THE RIGHT PRODUCTS. THAT WAS THE ONLY RESPONSE GIVEN BY HIS OFFICE. IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHY IT TOOK ME ALL THIS TIME TO TAKE ACTION, I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND OTHERS SO AT THE TIME MY ENERGY WAS ALL CONCENTRATED ON THOSE MORE IMPORTANT PROBLEMS. I CANNOT LET THIS SITUATION GO WITHOUT, AT LEAST, COMPLAIN TO SOME CONSUMER ADVOCATE THAT PRODUCTS ARE BEING SOLD TO PATIENTS AT A HIGH COST ($675.00) AND TOLD THAT THERE IS ONLY 3 MONTHS WARRANTY. IT IS AFTER THOSE 3 MONTHS THAT I NOTICED THE BEGINNING OF THE COLOUR STARTING TO CHANGE. ALSO, IT SHOULD BE SAID THAT AT NO TIME DID DR. ***** CONTACT ME OR TRY TO HELP IN ANY WAY IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND WHAT COULD BE DONE IN ORDER TO CORRECT SUCH A PROBLEM. THIS AESTHETIC LENS SHOULD HAVE HELPED SLIGHTLY CORRECT A TRAUMA THAT LEFT ME WITH DAMAGED LEFT EYE. NOW LENS LEAVES ME WITH TWO EYES OF DIFFERENT COLOUR. HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECIALIST IN SUCH MATTERS!!! P.S.: I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO UPLOAD SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, I COULD MAIL THE INVOICE IF NEED BE. THANK YOU

    Good day, 

    Thank you for your notification!  I have reached out to apologize to ****** for my delayed response to his concern. I explained the delay in communication came from long responses times from the manufacturer and their confusion regarding what may have occurred. In addition, we had our own internal miscommunication, which we have since addressed to avoid this from happening again.

    I have severed ties with the manufacturer and offered a full refund to ****** for the contact lens. Mr. ********** has our office phone number and email address to communicate any further issues or concerns that he may have.
