I purchased a ticket for a concert. The address on the ticket was incorrect and a correction email was sent two minutes before the concert started. Therefore, I arrived to the correct address when half of the concert was passed and it caused additional transportation expenses to me. The organizer refused any refund. They said the mistake is on the ticket issuing platform which doesn't make any sense to me. Plus, the concert condition was horrible, very poor chairs. And the length was shorter than the expected (on ticket it was 2 hours while it was only 1 hour and wp minutes) Is there anything I can do about it? Business Response

    Digital Zone Canada.

the 3rd party ticketing company that sold tickets online had made a minor mistake on the address number but not the venue name.  To compensate for late arrivals, the artists performed an additional 20 mins, for a total of 110 mins in one set instead of 90 mins. The seating chairs were top condition. The venue folk festival of Calgary a well known concert hall in Calgary set that up. We had no say in that. Plus the last row  tickets were sold to, this customer, at a very discounted price. We were there and the ticket holder never complained to us and attended the entire concert. 15 mins into the concert all ticket holders were present. This to say, the ticket holder is exaggerating about the circumstances of the concert. Through the ticketing company he was also offered 2 complementary tickets.

I am rejecting this response because:

We arrived 30 minutes late, so the business's statement that "after 15 minutes all were present" is incorrect . My ticket information shows the concert time was 19:00 to 21:00, we arrived 19:30 when I checked my watch at entrance and it finished 20:40 when I checked my watch again. I am surprised the the organizer lies so easily about everything but I can provide proof for all these timelines.

They say ticketing company has issued wrong addresses. I leave it up to *** to determine weather it is a responsiblity of the customer or the business to ensure their third party ticketing comapny has issues correct tickets. They say address was incorrect but festival name was correct. I will also leave that to *** to determine if the customer has to check all details together and pinpoint issues or it is normal that we assumed the address is correct.

I left my car at the inital incorrect address walking 10 minutes to the concert hall until we received the email that it is wrong. I had to take an ****, while I had paid for parking. All these extra expenes exceed any discount or whatever we got.

I have included a picture of our chairs (17 and 18) and do not believe that these chairs are in a top condition. Just compare them with the other ones (including 16 1nd 15 on the same row and price).  I will be happy to contact venue folk festival of calgary to check if this is their normal setup but I will leave it up to *** to check if it's a customers' responsiblity or the organizer to ensure the quality.

The offer of free tickets for next concerts is not satisfactory to me. I do not know which concert, when and at each level that compensation will be granted.

My salary in one hour is more than the ticket rate for myself, the whole reason I am filing all these is to make sure this organizer holds responsible for their work. If I had received even a simple apology at entrance, I might not have felt the need to pursue this matter further. I prefer to hold the business responsible for their work. Learn the lesson this is not a good excuse to say we didn't do this, this is the issuing website.

    Sincerely,
