  If I could give them zero stars, I would.Beware! They will blame you, the tenant, for their negligence.We've been living in mold for 7 months now, which is apparently our own fault for having newly potted plants (what a joke, getting blamed for plants that you potted in march-april to neglect a mold complaint that was filed in December).When we called bylaw, they lied to bylaw by saying that we refused access to the apartment for service. We were never given notice to vacate for service and therefore we were not prepared because we couldn't just leave when they knocked on the door one day. We had animals in the apartment that we couldn't place on a whim as they gave only 24 hours notice of entry and didnt mention we would need to vacate for a number of days. They equated this to us being non-compliant. We've asked multiple times for them to prove that they had ever given us proper notice and they could not prove such a thing.These guys want to do the absolute bare minimum. We are escalating this to the landlord and tenant board, to recieve a rebate of our rent. We, the tenants, are an asthmatic and a 20 week pregnant spouse at the time of this review. Our complaint was submitted to Filament when we were not even pregnant yet. Our health and safety has not even been assessed, I have no idea if my unborn child is at a real risk to mold spores and I'm at my **** end with Filament Realty.

  Thank you for the review! You are absolutely right, Bylaw did follow up on your complaint and ended up closing the file due to how clear it was that you are causing your own problem. Having animals is fine but only if you are responsible and pick up after them. In your case, you allow your large rabbits to roam around the apartment and leave their f**** all over the floor.

  Again, growing plants is totally acceptable, but as suggested, doing so using planters on the balcony instead of plastic fruit containers with holes on the bottom directly on the laminate floor in the unit is not acceptable. Besides causing damage to our property, it has clearly resulted in a moisture issue. Despite this, we have attempted to remedy the moisture problem you caused, but each time a member of our staff attends your unit to repair ( after we provide ***** hr notice ) you refused entry.

   

  In addition to attempting to remedy the moisture issue you caused, we have attempted to come to an agreement for you to vacate the apartment and provide you compensation of a couple months of rent in hopes you could find a more family & pet friendly home. 

   

  Ultimately bylaw has closed your case and the *** likely will too. We ask that you reach out to us and either allow us entry to repair or come to an agreement to find alternative housing that is better suited to your needs & lifestyle.

  It has been a great experience working with *******, landlord filament reality. He is a thorough gentleman and always helping to the tenants.
