  Minto recently showed themselves to be a very heavy handed employer. A very well liked live in Superintendent in a high rise rental building, was fired with no notice and given one week to vacate his apt...in March!Minto failed to follow established Human Resource protocol, failed to proceed through ascending disciplinary levels prior to termination, and failed to offer professional counselling to address any root cause of the supposed offenses...Unprofessional, inhumane and outright bullies! I sure wouldn't count on them being principled builders of new homes!

  The house we bought from Minto Constructions delayed for 1.5 years. After numerous delays, they announced the final closing date. We organized everything for that day: sold our house, made all mortgage related arrangements, bought furniture and appliances for our new house. Only four days prior to announced closing date they inform us that there will be no closing. From that moment we became homeless as we sold what we had, and there was no house to move in. Within 4 days I had to find Airbnb for my family. Minto refused to provide an shelter in their Minto Furnished Apartments, they also refused to pay any kind of compensation. I wish each and every staff member of Minto Construction would feel what they put us through. This kind of companies should not exist. Government should shut them down for what they do to those who trusted them. I forgot to mention about their GREED. The land they provided gets smaller and smaller. I hardly can call a tiny piece of land a backyard. All the windows of my neighbors are 6 feet away from our bedrooms and bathrooms. Minto Construction should be renamed into Greed and Incompetence Construction.

  We bought our dream house from Minto and moved into that on August 2020, We submitted 30 days and 1 year Tarion warranty form with the builder in accordance to the Tarion guidelines, It is so frustruating to share that items from 30days and 1 year are still pending, Now the warranty teams are'nt eaven responding to my emails, When we ***** the house we were told stories about how good their customer service is. I would defunately seek some sort of explanation on this. It is painful and time taking to deal with a big company like Minto on my own.

  on September 20 was my closing date, when I got the key it was so many things that wasn't finished in the house the door was hiding the wall windows was with paint not cleaned up duct was full of dust missing siding at least 20 places was sanded but not painted.couldn't move in until it it was cleaned up I had to stay for a week until the cleaned up in my parents place du to my sons dust allergy.they are getting cheap contractors and not checking on them how the job is been done.Minto didn't deserve even 1 Star.
