Most appalling experience. Bought a bike in May, within 2 weeks I called the store and said listen this bike is falling apart. First they said we will exchange it, then they said you get one free tune up, no worries we'll fix it. I was fine with it being fixed only. I went on vacation for 4 weeks, upon my return I followed up and they said " wait until bike technician comes". Waited 2 weeks, only for bike technician to say "this bike is too fallen apart its not under warranty". This is a $250 bike that fell apart within weeks. I said it must have been defective, and their response is that my son was too rough with it (his previous bike lasted 4 years). They were rude, saying ridiculous things like "you don't know what 12 year olds do to bikes". The manager yelled at me and basically chased me out of the store, other customers were there and told me how appalled they were at the manager's, ***** behaviour. I don't do public shouting matches, so I left the store and called their customer service hotline. At first they said they can offer me $100, after telling them how the manager behaved they said "we will escalate this to head office, this doesnt fair". So I waited,2 weeks of calling them back and forth, only for their head office to say "the store owner doesnt want to contact you, we can't force them". When I said you're head office surely there is something else you can do, they said "the owner tried to contact you but couldnt, please direct further communication to them". Which is an absolute lie, no one ever contacted me. I am on a single income and don't have money to just forget this ordeal and buy another bike and they have offered nothing to correct this situation. Absolutely appalling customer relations. I usually choose local/domestic retailers, but ****** learned, go to ****** where they ALWAYS honour warranties, especially for a product I flagged defective within 2 weeks. I tried to keep it civil and was patient for weeks, but they have offered nothing
