    On May 26, I purchased plants from this business. Due to a severe storm the previous day, he was having difficulty with his point of sale terminal (cell towers were down not far away from his location). I thought the transaction didn't go through, so I e-transferred the funds.

    On June 11, I emailed him when I realized that I'd paid twice - both transactions went through (each one of C$276.85). He replied the same day, asking which email address to use (a weird question given I'd just emailed him), and I replied on June 12 to send the refund to the account I'd contacted him with. I never received the refund.

    On September 8, I reached out again to say that I hadn't heard from him, and if he didn't reimburse me, I'd contact the *** as well as comment on the local "edible gardening" facebook group where he normally gets a lot of recommendations. Once again, no reply at all. Now that the gardening season is over, I'm considering going to Small Claims Court, except the fees are nearly as much as I'm owed! Can you help? I just want a refund of the duplicate payment. It's a lot of money.

    I am happy to share with you bank statements and credit card statements and the emails in question, if you can help. (I'll black out unrelated purchases and account numbers, of course).

    We have corrected the issue and have processed Aliza Runder Refund. See attached interact receipt for reference. 

     

    We have since replace our email service provider from RackSpace to Google Workspace.
