      I was charged a fee of $300 for a CPAP trial, which was specified as non-refundable. I had no issues with that, thinking it was only fair the company would charge for the service. However, the first 4 nights where I attempted to use the ***** it would not work. I took it back to them 3 times, and 3 times they said they adjusted it and should be okay. On the fourth morning, I simply returned the machine, told them this was obviously not going to work out, and asked for a refund. I was of course refused, reminding me it was non-refundable. Well, true if the service is provided, but no service was provided. I instead had to start over with the company ******** in ******, who by-the-way, do not charge for trials. I simply want my $300 back since I was never provided any service. There are other issues that came to light when I compared this company's quote for the purchase of a ***** to the Wellwise quote, which shows actual fraud on their part. However, since I did not buy the machine from them, it has no bearing on my complaint.

      In my original complaint, I mentioned possible fraudulent activity on behalf of this company. If you examine the two quotes attached, you will notice the absence of a humidity chamber on the Wellwise quote. When I questioned ********, and 3 other companies about the omission, I was informed that the item comes with the **** machine. This company chooses to separate it from the machine, and sell it for an additional $150. To me, that is absolute fraud. Also note the filters on both quotes. Two packs of filters for $200, versus two packs of filters for $9.99. This company preys on people with critical medical needs for all they can get... Legitimate scamming is what it is.

      Coincidently, the company contacted me this morning to advise me that they will be refunding the full amount of $300. This came about after I sent them a registered letter, telling them I would be filing a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario, if this could not be resolved in the next 3 weeks. Although you were not able to get any response from them, I still appreciate the support you have provided. Thank you very much for staying on top of this complaint.

      I purchased a ******* Respironics medical device from complete cpap care located on
      Innes rd in Orleans on March 6, 2017. In the 5 years that I have had this machine I have never received any followup from this company. Recently I have become concerned that the machine was not working properly. I was not getting the benefits that I should have. I went to the store to get the machine checked and the clerk did a diagnosis of the machine and she had to make some adjustments. She also suggested that I change from the nose piece to the full mask which I did purchase. Since then my sleep has improved but now I have dry mouth because the humidity function does not work.
      There has been a recall from ******* on the machine that I am presently using. I talked to the clerk on September 1 and advised her that the humidity function was not working and asked that I be put on a priority list for a replacement machine and she refused because the warranty had expired. I fail to see how this would be a factor as the machine is recalled and all of them will be replaced. She gave me the number for ******* and I called them and they say that all replacement machine will be sent to the provider and that they have started to send replacement machines to providers.
      I feel that Complete Cpap care does not take my health seriously and are not very helpful. They have never done follow up in the past. I had chosen Cpap care because it was recommended on the list I was given at the hospital I now greatly regret that decision.

      The machines are indeed under recall from the manufacturer and the machine is out of warranty for any defects, however we are working hard to come to a solution for this patient so she can maintain her CPAP therapy until a solution has been determined.
