  I was treated unsympathetically and unreasonably by the business owner over the telephone, making a difficult time more stressful after a car accident. On the day of my accident, I phoned the business and informed an employee of my decision to recycle the car, which had just been towed to their lot. This employee stated that they would speak to their supervisor and call me back with a final quote. I expected a bill around $120, per their online advertising, plus some money reimbursed for the value of my car on recycling. However, it took the business 4 days to call me back, and they charged me $800 for the time spent holding my car. I tried to dispute this but the business owner was evasive about her pricing and unsympathetic to the situation. She blamed the issue on high school students she had hired to cover her days off, who had forgotten to tell her of my decision 4 days earlier. She also argued that she could not have capped my bill earlier because she was off work. She confirmed that all customers are being charged a daily fee for her days off, if they are awaiting her approval to recycle their car.In the end the bill was reduced to $400 after recycling, and I paid this. But there was never any apology or acknowledgement of the business owner's responsibility for their employee's mistake.

  Good morning, We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our website states that tows start at $120 for regular services - an accident is not considered a regular service by any governing body. As per ****** Mandated Bylaw, we observe the required hours of operation for our storage yard. As well, our pricing is mandated by ****** Bylaw, to which we adhere to strictly. When you called and explained that your vehicle does not have insurance, we reduced your invoice by half and scraped your car to help cover the difference. As for not apologizing, when you came to retrieve your items and left to retrieve your banking information to send an EMT for the balance owing, we expected that you would come back inside to retrieve the copy of your invoice however, you simply left, not giving us the opportunity to complete our transaction and offer you our apologies for the confusion. We very obviously do sympathize with your situation hence why we reduced a bill as much as we could. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office. We pride ourselves in being as transparent as possible.

  We had a flat tire in our parking lot and we tried CAA - no answer and on hold for more than 25 min. Called Canadian towing service and they arrived in less than 20 minutes, put on the spare tire and were done almost instantly! Great service - fast service - thank you!!!
