Muyassar (Al Muyassar for Hajj & Omrah Services Inc.) owe me CAD $6971 for travel services not fulfilled. I had registered on May 18, 2022 to travel with Muyassar for Hajj 2022, and then cancelled and opted for a refund on May 21, 2022. On May 21, 2022, Muyassar promised to refund us by the end of August 2022, but this appears to be a method of stalling as they have ignored all communication with us since June 28, 2022. The resolution that I am seeking is for the refund to be processed as soon as possible.

Al Muyassar for Hajj & Omrah Services Inc. is registered in Alberta but is primarily operating (probably illegally) in Ontario, presumably to circumvent regulatory bodies such as the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) which would normally otherwise enforce timely consumer refunds. For this reason, I am escalating this issue to you as the transport minister of Canada. Their registered address is ***** *** ** *** ******** ******* *** **** We are residents of Ontario and we discovered that others are in the same predicament as us.

However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
