MD management currently holds an account belonging to my late father who passed away in august 2021. We are now in october 2023 and they are still refusing to pay out his account to my sister and I, his designated heirs in his will, by requesting documents that do not exist (for example, a so-called ‘notarial wet sealed copy’ of his will which we determined with a lawyer is actually impossible to produce since my father is dead and therefore cannot sign a will again in front of a notary). We further know these demands from MD management to be unreasonable as my father also held a far larger account with ******* who accepted the same documents we submitted to them, including the release by our step-mother. These delays mean that MD management has continued making money from an account that is not rightfully theirs and this for now over a year and a half. Any attempts to speak to someone in their estates department is met with more obfuscation and delays or are simply being ignored. This disregard for the will of their client, in a terrible time such as this, is simply inhumane. We hope to prevent this awful situation from happening to anyone else by warning others that MD management will not respect their explicitly detailed instructions and of how they will treat their family members in the worst moment of their lives.
