I cannot believe how I was treated on October 12th 2022 by ******, the owner at Austin trophies in Peterborough. I came to pick up a $200 piece that was 5 days late and was supposed to be a gift for a 50th anniversary 3 days prior. The piece had visible chips and a scratch out of the gold paint in which ****** agreed was not good, he then proceeded to tell me it wasn’t his fault and if I didn’t want it then don’t take it, he said he had enough, was sick of my order and was over it. I said I don’t think my husband will be happy paying $200 for a damaged piece, I’ll ask my husband what he thinks, I then pulled out my camera to take a picture to send to my husband, ****** **** **** **** ***** grabbed the piece out of my hands walked down the hall, threw it up in the air and smashed it on the ground. I’m so shocked at the abusive disgusting behaviour that was displayed after driving an hour to pick up a piece that was 5 days late. And was treated as if it was my fault they damaged my order. I’m appalled at the customer service and abusive treatment by ****** and suggest staying as far away from this business as possible.
