    We made a reservation on June 18, 2023 for a cottage rental and paid in full ($934.62). Due to unforeseen personal expenses, we cancelled the reservation by email on June 19, 2023, which is permissible according to their cancellation policy, less a $50 admin fee. They did not confirm the cancellation or reimburse us. We sent several follow up emails asking for confirmation of the cancellation/reimbursement, with no reply. We have called their business phone number dozens of times, with no answer and a full voice mailbox. Once about 3 weeks ago I got through to the voicemail and left a detailed message about the cancellation, including the booking number and my phone number, with still no reply. We would like to hold them to their cancellation policy even if they are ignoring us. The next step will be legal recourse. I'm also wondering if it might be an intentional scam (is there a cottage?), since the company is 100% unreachable over several months.
