      At the end of June 2022, I became a member of Bridgeview Marina. They offered a service to store my ****** for the summer until the end of Sept. Sometime between Aug 13th and 20th, one of their workers reversed a tractor into my ******, knocking it off the storage crib onto the concrete paving below. Once I discovered this, I advised the Marina on Aug 21st, upon discovery, that I was aware of the damage caused and although the marina would not call me back, despite numerous attempts to talk to the owner, I finally ran into the owner on Aug 25th and he admitted that his worker had caused the damage and committed to paying for the repairs. He suggested that he had a company that frequently carried out any repairs that his workers caused to members boats etc. I responded that I would be willing to meet this person to review the damage and whether or not I would be happy for this company to carry out the repair. I told the owner to contact me when this person was available to meet. However, the next day, I returned to the marina to find that some repair work had already been started without my agreement. I contacted the ***** ****** *** but eventually they told me that there was nothing they could do to assist because the incident happened on private property and nobody was injured or killed. The marina owner has ignored every e-mail that I have sent to record the facts and to request his Liability Insurance details so that my insurers could claim against his insurers. The marina owner also refused to provide these details to the OPP. Subsequently, I am having to claim the damages- close to $6K from my own insurance. So. I am hoping that BBB can assist me in seeking full refund of the damages as well as my marina fees due to loss of opportunity to use my membership following the damage. Also seeking compensation now that my brand new 2022 Seadoo ****** has been compromised and I could not sell this as I undamaged. I can send copies of all e-mails once you contact me.
