Had an air handler and heat pump installed. The installation started January *******. He had problems with the installation. Said it was working on Saturday Jan. 18/25. The temp did not get over 59 degrees Celsius. Called him he said it was normal. Came out Sunday Jan 19 said he needed to order a part. Finally installed new part on January 29/25. Went without a furnace for over 10 days. Asked about warranty, he said it was set up, was not, did get it set up. Texted him about Caulking to outside of house. I could see outside. He put more caulking on it(terrible job). Called him again, my house was not getting hot but thermostat was set high. My hydro bills have gone up significantly and house is not even warm. Had 2 **** companies come out to assess. Issues include the line outside is kinked, the copper is not insulated, unit outside is not secured, gaps not sealed. Electrical is not proper. Due to the poor installation the unit is not working efficiently. He has been out to repair things and has never even tried to secure the heat pump outside or fix the installation. The stand is not properly secured to anything. I do not feel comfortable having him back in my home. He said he was not going to refund with a chance to fix things. He has had a chance and has not fixed anything and the installation job is terrible. I have asked him for a copy of his wsib or commercial liability insurance and he has not responded. I would like a refund to use to have the system installed properly by a qualified hvac company. I was texted by him "your house might be built on an Indian burial ground because I don't think I've ever had so many problems with a brand new unit" He has also disposed of my old furnace and central air conditioning unit so I don't even have the option of re installing those. He also drilled into my foundation and didn't even use that spot.
