    Auto collision Oct. 17, 2023, ***** Insurance sent car to CarStar, Nov. 23rd appraisal settled consent given to proceed with repairs Dec. 4 2023 they took car apart, it sat beside a farmers field for 14 months, CarStar ignored my calls, constantly said shop ordered wrong parts, car would be ready next week. Dec. 20, 2024-14 months later- finally told car was repaired picked it up and warning lights and alarms flashing/pungent odor, tried calling again immediately no response. Weeks later when I finally got ahold of them I was told they needed the mechanic who was on vacation for at least another month, then ***** **** took over the shop the car was put back together to look nice and given back to me. I went back and forth with them to find out the car wiring and interior had been infested with mice and was told the car wasn't safe to drive and should be written off. I have videos and pictures of the damage. ***** Insurance refuses to pay the replacement value of car that would have been payable had the car been written off in Oct. 2023. Now I am stuck with a car that is not safe to be in let alone drive and it is not worth anything. CarStar was negligent in securing my vehicle safely while in their possession and they returned a vehicle to me that is unsafe/unroadworthy over a year and a half later. Now I am told by CarStar head office that the ***** **** is the same people as CarStar at that location so they just changed their name? If they had repaired my car in a timely manner and not left it sitting open with parts off the rodents would not have gotten into it, the fact they knew that and returned it to me anyways is negligence. i have an mp4 to send
