They promote good accommodations, good hunting spots/set **** red seal cook meals provided, transportation. I paid good money for my husband and son to go have a hunting experience through this outfitter. The accommodation was literally a shack, the outhouse was full to the toilet seat and wasn't clean for them. There wasn'* a **** there for meals, it was the guide himself and it was not enough to feed a child. They were dropped off in the morning and pick up late evening, to areas that were suppose to be blinds (so hide to **** deer). My husband was dropped off a a camping chair that had an arm broke and my husband to a stand in a tree that was in the wide open, not hidden. No cell service. Not safe if something was to happen and they were just left there. They are bother hunters and felt the baits weren't even really taken care off and these weren't even hunting spots. They were on crown land where anyone could ****. Left after a day and never got reimbursed my 3000$

    Business Response

    Date: 16/12/2024

This father-son pair came and seemed quite happy while they were here. I gave him a stand that was quite active.  They received everything they paid for.  They never mentioned any dissatisfaction and if they had, I would have accommodated them. They didn't even contact me, just went to BBB.   They paid for 6 days and stayed 1 day.  They have slandered me on every website they can find.  If they had been professional about it, I might have been willing to offer a refund, but not now.

In response to the owner operator of this business I files a complaint with, my husband and son were quite shocked on the accommodations to begin with. They were being polite and gave it the benefit of the doubt for the first night. The active stand at the chair, seen in the picture attached (a broken chair if you zoom in you will see.  Also the one one tree stand isn't secured safely on tree.  The tie strap snugged up and leans forward). If it was an active bait with active deer, he didn't show any of this to them (trail cams, no pictures?).  His outfit is definitely not what he is portraying he is offering people. 3000 $ to sleep in a trailer with a caving in roof, unable to lock door, no washing facilities (as no water at all) and an out out house (porta potty) that was full to the rim is not fit for anyone to stay at.

They were so upset (father and son)  and floored on how unprofessional he was. The owner was putting his former employee down and sharing all his personal struggles with addictions to the whole group that was there. This was on the first night being there. The next day, as mentioned, my husband and son were dropped off, to this so called stand, from dark till dark with no communication or way to contact anybody.  They were told if they get a deer, they provide skinning and gutting. My son asked if he shot deer how is he to deal with it if unable to reach anyone (as he never done himself) was told he would need to deal with it.  Also, if any emergency would occur, this definitely is a safety concern. They were upset and upon return back to camp, to avoid any conflict, they felt best to just pack up and leave. Especially when he was complaining about other hunters. He wasn't professional and confidential at all.

When they left, the owner didn't reach out either to see what happen and chose to keep the money.  What if they went to town and got in an accident? He didn't even show any concern about his clients? He didn't know why they left.

In regards to slandering his good name, I did post a review on his ******** page but didn't do so everywhere else as he claims.  I have attached the review, which I thought if there is a spot for this, it is not against the law to share your experience.  I have also attached my review comment that was posted. It is only the truth i put in review not slandering

I believe for the 1 day, him taking the 3000 $ for what he actually had to offer, not even checking to see why left early, he wasn't too concerned and kept the money happily.

I am not satisfied and still wish to be refunded.
