    I went to Mr. Lube for a simple oil change, but was advised that my engine urgently needed a flush due to low oil levels. As someone not familiar with car maintenance, I reluctantly agreed, resulting in a $220 bill instead of the expected $120. While waiting, I saw another customer being pushed into the same unnecessary service. ** ***** **** ***** ** * ****** ******* ** ********* ** ***** ******** ******** Engine flushes can potentially harm your engine, *** ** ***** **** *** **** *** ** ********** ********** **** ** ********* *** ********** ************ they told me my differential fluid needs to be changed. They even took me to the bay, opened the axle differential fluid plug, and claimed my differential fluid needed filling because it was supposed to leak when the cap was removed. I later learned from friends and a mechanic that this is incorrect. If the differential was low, it meant it would have to be leaked out which my case there was no leak. Fluid does not disappear.
