    *********** They canceled our November 2022 trip to Europe with no warning and three different nonsensical reasons. In conflict with their own stated policies. The first thing they tried was to demand more money from us. They were recommended by ********* who, openly stated that they have had problems with UTO. We have had to file charges of fraud and cybercrimes as they refuse to refund our money.

    ***** *** **** ******* *** ******* ********* ** ****** *** ********** ** ****** ***** ** **** *********** ** * ***** Since the pandemic started, UTO canceled all tours to China because of China's strict covid related restrictions, only giving customers a choice to book a substitute to an alternative destination at a regular price, or to reschedule the China tour to a future date, then canceling the same tour again. But never offering a refund!! This has been going on since 2019 and will be the case again next year given the ongoing covid infections in China and the China's continuous implementation of lock-downs, testing, and quarantines. The situation is unlikely to change for years. Yet, UTO continues to market the China packages offering no better than wishful thinking that the tour will be a go a year from today. Under their terms and conditions, if you book the China tour, UTO will collect your tour money in full, knowing they can cancel the tour next year as they have for the past three years, often only days before scheduled departure, and do not have to refund your money! ******** **** ********* ******** ** ****** * **** *** ****** *** * ******* **** ************ ********* ***** ** * **** ***********! To include a clause under UTO terms and conditions that reads" Refunds will not be granted for pre-existing situations at the destination country at the time of the booking" is ridiculous, especially with a track record having canceled every tour to China since 2019 with no end in sight!!! And indeed to have the audacity to continue market China at present with glossy pictures to round up more paying customers constitutes a deception when reality of any tour to China being a go in a foreseeable future is no more than a dream. I feel UTO should cease to sell the China tour and/or offer everyone a full refund of the deposits or tour money paid in full if a customer asks for a refund, and not force people to buy full-price substitutes!

    Like many others I booked a vacation for myself and family that came out to over 2,000 dollars. It included a brief stay in China with the majority being in Thailand. This was 9 months ago at the time of the booking. I expressed a concern and have photos of text conversations showing that if the trip had to be cancelled because of Covid concerns as long as I cancelled with more than three months before the trip a full refund would be granted or I could receive travel credits Well I received a notice saying uto could not fulfill their end of the deal like everyone else. That it's not their fault that they took my money and couldn't hold their end of the deal and I would receive no more than 50 percent of a refund since it's inside the 3 month window. Problem with that reasoning is it's not with in that window and they drew out their response time for a month until it was so now that can make that claim.     I am supposed to have a Greek Odyssey 11 days- USA departure in from October 21st, 2022 to October, 31 2022. I was noticed that my flight is cancelled on my way back home on October 31st 2022 and automatically put my flight to November 1st, 2022 . I called the airline company and asking to see if there is any flight back to the US on October 31st, 2022 since my tour is ending on October 31, 2022 and the answer is yes and there is a different flight back on October 31, 2022 but I have to contact my travel agency to make this change. I called UTO vacation booking team and explained that I need to come back on October 31, 2022 ***** * **** ** ** **** ** **** **** ** ** ******* ******* and they still forcing me to go on the next day flight without any compensation for flight compensation per EU passenger rights "EU 261/2004" for flight cancellation. UTO vacation was asking if I want to book a hotel on October 31St, 2022 and there will be a $150 per night to stay extra day after my tour is ending. The airline company was saying if I want to cancel the flight then I will give refund $668.7 in Canadian dollars, and I was mentioned it to UTO vacation and asking them if I can have a refund back so I can book my flight and the answer from UTO vacation was I won't get a full amount after deduction. I can't believe it and this is my first time booking with UTO vacation and would hope that I will have a nice and stress free vacation but turn out it is not like one would wish for their vacation and would hope that their vacation will be in a good and honest agency. I hope UTO vacation will resolve and handling customer satisfaction better and hopefully future customers will have better vacation with this company.

    I purchased a trip to China in 2019 to travel in April 2020, which was obviously rescheduled due to Covid-19. Since then, this trip has been rescheduled twice, and my latest trip date currently for October 2022 now needs to be rescheduled again due to China's Covid regulations and quarantine requirement. I have asked for a refund and am told they will only be willing to reschedule the trip AGAIN. I understand the complexity of the situation but at this point providing the refund to the customer is the right thing to do.

    It's been a year since I've been trying to get my deposit of $600 back since the trip to Japan has been canceled for 2 times and they keep refusing it! They keep your money even so they didn't incurred any expenses with booking? Very disheartening and unfair!!!
