I do not even know where to start. We hired and gave **** a deposit in May of 2024 to do front yard landscaping, widen our driveway with stone pavers, remove and demolish front and side decks, and build new front deck with permanent roof. The demolition was done. A new French drain was installed along our driveway. Pavers were installed but not finished. The nightmare is with the front deck. We had permit issues in the beginning. That was completely our fault. They started to build the deck then it had to be torn out and re-done per county code. The New permit was issued mid July. They came back and poured new footings, set posts and mostly built the flooring. The deck was rejected by an inspector today. We didnt even know the footings and framing needed to be inspected before closing up and continuing. The deck **** built now has to be torn out a second time.We greatly regret ever hiring ****. Its been MONTHS of delays, excuses, personal problems, no vehicle, no partner, no tools, promises to show up and then not show up at all. **** is completely unreliable. We have owned several homes and worked with many contractors. This was by far the worst experience ever. You hire someone expecting them to do a good job, not to completely abandon your project and not show up. Unfortunately its become common that once a contractor has your $$$, they dont care about finishing in a timely manner. Our project is dead in the water now because the county inspector did not pass the inspection of the deck. We have to tear everything out.We have paid him all the money he asked for. Our deck now has to be torn up. The landscaping not finished, stone extension not finished. WE ARE OUT so much $$$ and not even close to finished. We fired Pro Vision and now have to search for and hire someone else to finish the work.

Your frustrations are valid. But unfortunately these things happen when the design is altered over 5 different times. Refusal of paying for variances and rebuilding the deck twice was completely on us. And firing a contractor mid job because of delays due to permits and other issues are irrelevant to walking away from a job. We never walked away. There's a big difference in deciding to end a contract, over it being abandoned. I hope this all gets finished up for you in the end ??
