    1 Star only because the Tempur-Pedic Adapt Contour Medium King Mattress started out good. This very expensive mattress is at 1/2 life and it is like sleeping in a hammock. ** **** **** ***** **** *** *** *****  The warranty fight is a joke. They want to see body depressions of over 3/4" in a picture. That is impossible with memory foam. We have sent several emails with pictures explaining the breakdown of this mattress. We have invited them out so we can show them the issue. The middle is good. Now they want to see another picture of weights on the bed. Wish us luck. We are sleeping in the guest bed for now. At this point we are going shopping for a coil mattress. * ***** **** *** ****** ***** ***** *** ***** ** ***** ************ ********** **** *** *** *** *** **** ******** *** * *** ** *** ******

    Hello ******  As advised over email, you submitted a claim where the mattress did not present a defect at 0.75 inches with no weight applied to the product - which is what we cover for a claim (amongst other options). We offered to show how the bed reacts to 2 equally weighted objects placed on the mattress to show your concerns with the area of concern and an area of no concern. What you reveal to us with these retaken images is that the mattress has a body impression that is normal and expected where you/your partner sleep and no body impression in the middle where you are not sleeping.
    We stand by our 10-year warranty and advise that should your product develop a 0.75-inch depression within 10 years, please restart your claim with your retailer.
    We advised you on the nature of how All-Foam products support VS a traditional build and how what you are experiencing is a Comfort Issue and not a Manufacturer Defect.

    First of all I would like to state that in all my attempts, which are many, to speak with a customer service representative, I have had absolutely no success; no call back has ever come, despite leaving many messages over 12 months. This level of customer (dis)service has been hugely disappointing.
    Second, we invested in Tempur bedding because we believed the bed was one of the most supportive on the market with a strong reputation for standing by its product over the long term. However, it did not take long for depressions and holes to develop - especially in the hip area. We persisted for about a year and a half before we made our first claim, which was honoured through our retailer. Our second mattress was much worse though. After ONLY 6 months it was in far worse shape than the first but this time our claim was denied and I am unable to get in touch with Tempur by phone or email to discuss this. Appalling!
