    Called saying we won a free 1st aid kit only to then say we had to sit through a presentation for 45-60 minutes and that was the short version…….not free at all. **** ********** *****************

    Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure how to respond as it seems you were given the information accurately so it was not misleading but, in fact, transparent.
    You were selected to receive the emergency kit as a part of our fire awareness campaign. We, clearly, explained that the safety meeting would take approximately an hour. The education we provide to families includes proper use and placement of fire extinguishers, how to deal with ktichen fires, a personalized fire prevention plan as well as an escape plan. We set up a meeting spot for the family and provide people locator stickers for bedroom windows. We also help families to identify and reduce risks in the home. This is a complimentary service. It takes time because we take safety seriously and want to be sure to answer any questions that may arise during the visit. There is no cost to the visit. We have an array of safey products available but there is also no obligation to purchase anything. Our mission is to protect the community, one family at a time.
    I hope this clears up our intentions. As you never allowed us to share this with you I am not sure how you could consider this a scam.
