    Back in August of 2022 we put a deposit down for the company to pour a Concrete pad and side walk way in out backyard.

    We were told we had to put a deposit down. In total we gave Stonetown Concrete & Construction $3687.68 for doing absolutely nothing. This may not seem like a lot of money, but to me who is retired and the world the way prices are now, it is a lot of money to me.

    He (****) was supposed to do it thst year. But he had excuse after excuse from telling me he had no workers, to short on concrete, to eventually saying the weather is too bad to pour. He gave me his word we would be first on his list in spring of 2023.
    Come spring 2023 we contacted him and he kept pushing the date, **** ***** ** *** ** ****** ** *** ***** ********* 

    Last he texted us was in May and now he has completed shut us out. We have called, emailed and texted many many times qith no response. We feel taken advantage of and we would like to get the job done or a refund so I can get someone else to do it.

    We paid a deposit of $5800 to have a concrete drive installed on August 13th with the expectation that the work would be completed by mid September. We had trouble contacting Rick (company owner) after we gave him the money and we did not hear anything back until early October when we were again promised an install date of October 10th (Thanks Giving) Rick did show up and started to dig the driveway and again promised to pour the concrete on Friday the 14th. Rick text early on the 14th to cancel the appointment promising to pour the next week, this cycle continued until November 11th when he again let us down and we asked for some of our deposit back (we were willing to pay for the work he had done even though we knew we would end up paying a new contractor to do it again in the spring. Rick only text to say that he was keeping the deposit as he claims to of done half the work (We figure we are being generous if he done 20 hours of labour)
    We are now left without access to our drive/garage over the winter as well as being $5800 worse off.
