      Got Moves It was the hot day and I was not able to babysit the 3 grown men that arrived to move me. It took them 4 and a half hours to move a regular one bedroom apartment. Possibly 40 boxes. One bed 2 dressers and some other items there were no appliances except an apartment sized washer. I had called first and they told me **** dollars. I didn't book but did a week later thinking that would still stand. It took these 3 grown men one and a half hours with a break to unload at my new apartment that was maybe 5 km away. At the end they charged me *******. I would not give these people a good reference. They took advantage of me and possibly because I am a senior and they knew they would get away with it. Run. Call another mover and don't let it be Smooth Moves. I will make sure that everyone that asks me about these movers that they won't be chosen. You may have over charged me but I will make sure people know about it and they knew they would get away with it. Run. Call another mover and don't let it be Smooth Moves. I will make sure that everyone that asks me about these movers that they won't be chosen. You may have over charged me but I will make sure no one I know will hire you.You will lose the money you took from me and then some. ****** them on the BBB site. It's not the first person that was totally unhappy. I will make sure I put reviews all over the internet. I have chosen to look at it as it is what it is.They don't reply once you have upset them either. Take my advice. Get another mover. Over all I was charged for 6 hours of moving with 3 grown men doing the move. When I moved into my previous apartment I had all the same furniture in 2020 and another company charged me 600.and it took them 3 and a half hours.The last I heard from their office guy he was going to speak with the owner and get back to me and now avoids any text messages sent
