      We made a deposit ($500) on a vehicle on December 08, 2023, after assurances that body issues (rot and rust) would be rectified before pickup. On December 20, 2023, we settled the balance ($18,313.37) and retrieved the vehicle post-repair.However, just 28 days later, on January 17, 2024, rust and rot resurfaced. We promptly communicated with the salesperson, who acknowledged the issue and agreed to undertake a second round of repairs. These repairs were executed between February 17, 2024, and February 27, 2024.Disappointingly, by March 19, 2024, a mere 21 days after the second repair, rust and rot had reappeared in the same spots, indicating substandard work. It appears the root problems were left unaddressed, and inadequate patchwork was performed. Subsequent discussions with the salesperson, accompanied by photographic evidence, led to the concession that no further investments could be made in rectifying the issue.In an effort to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution, we engaged with the General Manager and President. When asked about our expectations, we simply reiterated our desire for the originally promised repairs to be executed correctly. However, they refuse to uphold their responsibility for the quality of the work performed, citing the expense incurred in repairs.We believe we should not bear the consequences of the dealership's choice of body shop, where the work was performed twice yet remains unsatisfactory. We seek nothing more than the completion of the promised repairs to a satisfactory standard.Claim submitted to OMVIC but they can not assist because the promise to repair was not in writing. We feel that the offer is implied, given they re-did the body repairs already 1 time. If they had not told us the body repairs would be completed before the sale, they would not have paid to have them fixed when the rust re-appeared the first time.
