    We hired Comfort Clean in Toronto for duct cleaning after seeing their website advertise a "9-step cleaning process including sanitization." We purchased their "Luxury Package" for $399 - which is their best package available. When the technicians arrived on June 21st 2025, they only performed basic vacuuming (step 1) and stated, "we don't do anything else." No sanitization or full 9-step service was provided, despite being clearly advertised. We asked for before/after photos (which are supposed to be included as part of the package), they replied "why buy a camera, that costs too much". They actually said that!
    When we stopped the service midway, because it was not what was advertised, the company charged us a $150 "cancellation fee." I believe this is unfair, as I was not cancelling a proper service - I was refusing to pay for a service that was falsely represented and incomplete.
    Comfort Clean engaged in misleading advertising, provided only partial service, and then penalized me for asserting my consumer rights.
