    ** **** ** ***** ******** *** * **** ** *** *** ****** ********* ******** We bought our house in 2016 and wanted to create a basement unit, but the town of Bradford didn't allow it until the COVID period when the rules changed, and we received approval.
    In November 2023, we hired Yours Construction, led by CEO David W. to help with the project. We signed a contract on November 23, 2023, and he said he submitted the necessary documents to the town on November 29. After the holidays, we became concerned about the delay, and David explained there was an issue with the entrance to the basement. I had already discussed the potential for this problem with him before signing the contract, and he assured me it wouldn’t be an issue.
    By March 2024, I contacted the town of Bradford and learned that David had never submitted the documents. This made me suspicious **** ** ***** ** ******** **. In April, I visited his office and found it was just a closed post box. David later met with me and admitted that his engineer had failed to submit the application. He also promised to resolve the issue by using another engineer named Tyler.
    Months passed, and by May 2024, I had lost $14,900 with no progress. I terminated the contract, and David promised to return the money in 12 instalments, 1000 a month. In June 2024, he sent me an email saying his company was struggling but assured me he wouldn’t "run away with the money." We, then signed a new contract, which I reluctantly agreed to in order to get my money back.
    Averting the repute, he removed his company from ****** ***** * ***** * ******** ****** **** * ****** ***** *** ***** ***** *** ***** **** ******** David later changed his business name from "Yours Construction" to ****** ************** and he’s now reportedly operating under the name "***** **** ******** in Vaughan.
    It’s been almost a year, and there’s been no progress on my project. He has effectively closed his business, and I’ve lost both time and money.
