      We purchased 540 square feet of walnut solid hardwood flooring from Breezewood Floors. We are replacing this flooring due to a house fire and took a lot of time selecting what we felt would look the best in our home. We purchased the flooring based on a visit to the showroom and looking at two samples of walnut flooring they have on display. As shown in photos attached, the flooring we purchased is a nice brown colour, the second option they have as shown in the showroom display is very orange. The sales associate, ******, informed me that the one we choose was rustic and would show more natural characteristics. I asked if we needed to buy more because this was "Rustic" and was told no, it would all be able to be installed. At no point did he mention that there would be many many quality issues and in fact the flooring would not be usable at all. Our installer found so many issues, he was not able to continue to install the floor. We ran into issues with the widths fo the boards being inconsistent, the machining is inconsistent so the boards do not sit flush together at the top. They do also not all fit together tight end to end. The micro bevels are all cut at different depths and looks terrible installed. The UV coating is not only chipping everywhere, it is white and bubbly on the bevels and scratches with a light touch. It appears that on top of manufacturing, there is also possibly an issue with either the coating or the UV lamps. The General Manager does not return our calls. The retail sales manager, ****, offered to allow us to switch the flooring out with other things on site in narrow boards at a significant cost increase to us. The sales people have admitted on calls that the flooring is unusable. Unfortunately they are not able to do anything more and the general manager will not speak directly to us. At this point we have no floor and have to buy elsewhere. We are requesting a refund.
